Karen Freudenrich has been a pivotal part of Employee Benefits Group, LLC since 1991, bringing over three decades of expertise in Qualified Retirement Plan administration and business operations. As President and Senior Retirement Plan Consultant, Karen plays a critical role in guiding the firm’s strategic direction and ensuring the highest standards of retirement plan services. 

She holds degrees in Business Administration and Accounting from Oklahoma State University. Her extensive experience encompasses various facets of retirement plan administration, as well as the accounting and compliance aspects crucial to managing a successful business. 

Karen’s long-standing dedication and deep knowledge make her a cornerstone of our team and a trusted advisor in the field.

Sarah Roberts, Esq.

General Counsel

Sarah Roberts is an accomplished employee benefits attorney with over nine years of experience in the field, having started her career in 2015. She specializes in a wide range of areas including retirement plan design, deferred compensation, mergers and acquisitions, plan terminations, leased employees, multiple-employer plans, and voluntary correction program applications.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma and earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Tulsa College of Law. Her extensive expertise and background enable her to provide strategic guidance and solutions tailored to complex retirement plan issues.

Ellen Michaels

Senior Retirement Plan Consultant

Ellen Michaels has been a key member of Employee Benefits Group, LLC since 1991, bringing over 33 years of experience in Qualified Retirement Plan administration and compliance. She specializes in cross-tested plan analysis, large plan conversions and audits, and voluntary fiduciary corrections.

Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science from The University of Tulsa. Her extensive experience and expertise make her a valuable asset to our team, providing high-level insights and solutions for complex retirement plan issues.

Lori Stovall

Senior Retirement Plan Consultant

Lori Stovall has over 29 years of experience in Qualified Retirement Plan administration and compliance. Her specialties include large plan conversions, multiple-employer plans, and cross-tested plan analysis.

Lori earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University. Her extensive experience and deep knowledge make her an essential resource for our clients navigating complex retirement plan challenges.

Bill Freudenrich is a distinguished former employee benefits attorney with 40 years of experience in the field. He founded Employee Benefits Group, LLC, and previously served as a partner at McAfee Taft, P.C. Bill’s expertise encompassed retirement plan design, self-insured medical plan design, wellness programs, deferred compensation, subrogation, mergers and acquisitions, plan terminations, leased employees, and COBRA and HIPAA compliance.

Renowned for his deep understanding of complex issues and his practical, insightful advice, Bill holds a degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and a Juris Doctor from The University of Tulsa College of Law.
